Cataract Surgery.

After the cataract surgery has been completed, the patient will need to wear an eye patch over the corrected eye. This patch is typically made of metal and plastic, then tapped onto the eye. It can be removed after a few hours, but many people prefer to leave it in place for at least a day or two. The patch protects the eye from any damage or debris that may cause the eye to heal slower.
