Varicose veins are common

November 28th, 2007 | by admin |

Varicose veinsare fairly common in the veins of the legs close to surface of the skin. These veins are stressed especially when the person has a job where they stand on their feet for many hours each day. While varicose veins are not very attractive there are other problems associated with them. They can become painful when walking or standing for longer periods of time and they can become very itchy and annoying.

Years ago the primary way to take care of varicose veins was through a surgial procedure where the affected veins were removed from the legs.
