Colitis in Dogs

November 21st, 2007 | by admin |

Colitis not only happens to humans, but also to dogs. The biggest causes of canine colitis are diets rich in fat and other dairy products. Some dogs cannot digest some foods and this causes colitis. Be sure to take note which food make your dog sick, and stay away from them. Another cause of colitis in dogs is the presence of bacteria in their bowel. Check with your veterinarian on how to treat colitis in your dogs. De-worming your dog at least twice a year can help.
