Peripheral Nerve Blocks

November 21st, 2007 | by admin |

I’ve tried just about everything for this peripheral neuropathy. I’ve tried about a dozen kinds of medication, several massage type treatments, an electrical stimulator and several other things. I didn’t get very much relief from any of them and I finally got desperate and I’m going to try peripheral nerve blocks. I hear that there’s a pretty good chance that this will work at least for a while. They stick a needle into the area where the nerve is so irritated and then inject some long lasting anesthesia. It deadens the nerves in the area for a good while and you get some relief. But the pain always returns. I don’t care. I’ll go back as often as it takes to get relief!
