Rain Under Shingles
August 16th, 2008 | by admin |My step-dad co-owns a roofing company with his brother. So it is kind of ironic that the roof in his own living room keeps leaking. To justify this a little bit, I should mention that my step-dad and his brother do commercial roofing projects, but it is still kind of funny (although not to him) that he has to keep fixing his own handiwork. I guess the rain water is somehow getting under the shingles of his roof and working it’s way into the house. With the way shingles are installed, it seems like you would have a difficult time making repairs to shingles without damaging the surrounding ones. I guess that is why I am not a roofer.
