Exercise bikes are a much-used form of gym equipment – and a popular method for getting an optimal workout.  Using one of these pieces of gym equipment is convenient, because it allows you to get good stimulation to your heart and lungs, as well as strengthening your leg muscles – all while avoiding unnecessary stress to your joints and other muscles in the body.  Some of the types of bikes that exist include your common upright bike; the “recumbent” bike – which allows better circulation and added comfort; and dual-action models that provide the option of a full-body workout with motion handlebars.
