What Causes Love Handles? And Why Excercise?

Love handles are caused by the same thing all fat is caused by—calories.  Any time your body intakes an excess of calories, it must be stored somewhere.  The most likely primary location on men is the belly.  For women, it’s those love handles.  (Men get love handles too, just not as fast.)  The purpose of excercise is to decrease your overall body mass index.  Body mass index, or BMI, simply means the percentage of your body which is made up of fat versus muscle.  Strength-training excercise combined with a good cardiovascular workout can get rid of those love handles.  But it won’t happen overnight.  You must excercise several times a week for a few months, combined with a change in lifestyle. excersizes for love handles
