Learn Why It’s Dangerous To Just “Try” To Quit Smoking

February 18th, 2008 | by admin |

In the attempt to stop smoking most people stress over the choices they have to make to rid themselves of this terrible habit. And this is completely understandable, especially from a chemical dependency standpoint. Consider the fact that nicotine is classified as being just as addictive as narcotics, such as heroin, cocaine, and methamphetamines. For this reason alone, smokers face an extremely difficult challenge that could take years to overcome.  The dangers of cigarette smoking can not be overestimated.

The good news is that the challenge to stop smoking can be met with success. And accomplishing the goal to stop smoking does not have to take years or even months. In fact, some people are so determined to get healthy and put down the cigarettes forever that they can kick the habit in a matter of weeks or days.
