Try using something such as a white-noise generator to block out distracting sounds and add peaceful ones. If that isn’t an option, perhaps a fan or something can drown out annoying sound. Also, among cures for insomnia of this kind, be sure to avoid having too much light in your room to avoid staying stimulated by the effect. Keep it dark, and keep it mellow, and you’ll be okay.
