According to studies, three out of every four women will suffer from at least one yeast infection during their life, but the condition is highly treatable.

Tea Tree Oil which has been diluted and placed on the affected area is known to help with the irritation of the infection.  There are anti-fungal medications that can cure the symptoms of a yeast infection.  There are tablets, suppositories, creams, and ointments among others.  Some of these medications are Nustation, Butoconazole, Terconazole, and Clotrimazole.

If you want to use any medications which are non-prescription, make sure to get the advice of your doctor just to be positive that what you are experiencing are symptoms of a yeast infection.
