What is a Merca Staff Infection?

December 12th, 2007 | by admin |

A merca staff infection is also known as MRSA. This stands for methicillin resistant staff aureus. The condition often appears in those with a weakened immune system as a result of certain diseases or recent surgery. Merca staff infections are often found in hospitals and nursing homes because of the health and age of the people there. One person can easily pass the infection along to dozens of other people in the same vicinity. This type of staff infection is highly resistant to most antibiotics including penicillin.
