Researching CNA Classes

October 17th, 2009

I’ve been curious lately about CNA Classes.
I’m tired of waiting tables - it’s time to do something more substantive.
I’ve learned enough about Online CNA Courses Accredited Through the NLNAC in the last few weeks to decide it’s a good option.
I don’t want to spend the rest of my life doing mindless work. It’s time to make some changes.
Let me know what you think about all this.

Is it common for autistic people to have learning disability?

October 10th, 2009
disability
Staci asked:

I know there are some autistic people out there that don’t have difficulty in learning. I have moderate autism and a learning disability, so I just want to know how common it is for autistic people to have learning disability.

Is there any link between autism and learning disability?

If you have autism, do you have a learning disability and how fast can you learn? If your children has autism, do they have a learning disability and how well can they learn?

Carolyn

How long does it take for a disability hearing?

October 7th, 2009

36 weeks w/ twins! asked:

I have C.O.P.D and asthma. I am on oxygen currently only at night, and I am on 14 different medications. I applied for disability in September of last year. I was denied. In my denial letter it said that I have restrictions and cannot perform my job as described, but in national economy standards my job did not entale all the work that I performed. I filed for an attorney in December, and they have filed for my hearing. I was wondering on average how long it takes to get a hearing. I have been told anywhere from 12-19 months. If anyone has been through this situation I would appreciate any input. Thanks!

My friend has been on disability since 2001 and has not filed income tax. He only gets about $14,000 a year. Now the IRS and state are taking over $3000 from him. Is this right?

Can I start a Sole Proprietorship while receiving Disability?

September 22nd, 2009

Towknee asked:

I’d like to know if I would be able to create a sole proprietorship business if I am receiving Disability. I REALLY want a trusted source to actually confim the rules.

Essentially, I’d like to start a sole proprietorship, although not necessarily right this second, but I’d like to know the official guidelines and legal aspects before I start my planning phase.

I’d really appreciate any links you can provide.
I guess I should clarify a bit more. Is there any consequences if I register a sole proprietorship while receiving Disability, even if I don’t make any money with it?

Jay

My Experiences With Used Salon Equipment

September 14th, 2009

I was talking to a friend yesterday about used salon equipment.
Money’s tight, and starting a business in this economy is a scary proposition.
I’m checking into my options with regard to used salon chairs. There appear to be some good choices out there. I’m just hoping I can find some pieces in good enough condition.
I don’t see any good reason to pay full price. I have better places to invest my cash.
Ok - that’s it for today.
